Density of laminate flooring

Laminate flooring (or called floating wood tile) is a multilayer synthetic flooring product, which is integrated with lamination technology. The inner core layer is usually composed of melamine resin and fiberboard materials. A typical laminate floor consists of elements in different layers, which are bonded together in the form of sandwiches. High density fiberboard (HDF) is a kind of fiber-based wood composite with a density greater than 0.85g/cm3. It is the most widely used core material in the manufacturing of composite floor.
