One is the dry back without glue on the back of the floor; the other is the dry back with glue on the back of the floor, which can be attached to the floor by tearing off the paper when installing the floor. The prices of these two types of flooring are slightly different, with the latter being more expensive. There are two kinds of base materials for self-adhesive flooring, one is recycled material and the other is new material. Judging from the current market conditions, the former has better sales. Next, this article will introduce how to identify new materials and returned materials from 5 aspects, so as to facilitate the selection of good quality LVT floors.

First, we can judge the quality of the floor by observing the color of the substrate. The color of the new material is beige; the mixed material is gray, cyan, and white; the recycled material is gray-black and black.

Second, we can judge the quality of the floor by touching the floor. The reclaimed material and the mixed material feel dry and non-moisturizing, but the new material is the opposite.

Third, we can distinguish the quality of the floor by smell. This is a very poor ability to smell, because most of the recycled and new materials have no peculiar smell.

Fourth, we can use the light to distinguish the quality of the floor. When the flashlight is irradiated against the floor, the new material has good light transmittance, while the other two materials do not have this feature.

Fifth, we can identify it by tearing up the colorful paper. Because this method can see the bonding strength of the pattern paper and the substrate, this determines whether it will peel during use in the next few years. The bonding strength of the new material is greater.

Our LVT floor has a layer of UV coating. Although the thickness of this layer is very small, its effect is very large. First of all, it can improve the gloss of the floor. The general brightness is 5-7 degrees, and it can also be matte. We can produce according to the customer's choice. Secondly, it can additionally improve the abrasion resistance and antibacterial ability of the floor. UV coating must be added to the floor. Our factory does two coatings, one layer of primer and one topcoat. Many factories only apply one layer, so the quality is not as good as our factory floor.
