L'aggiunta di materiali conduttivi alla composizione del pavimento in PVC pu\u00f2 trasformarlo in un pavimento antistatico. Ma non si tratta di una semplice aggiunta di polvere di carbonio. Il pavimento antistatico ha dei limiti precisi in termini di resistenza. In generale, un pavimento con un valore di resistenza compreso tra la sesta potenza di 10 e la nona potenza di 10 \u00e8 chiamato pavimento antistatico, mentre un pavimento con un valore di resistenza compreso tra la quarta potenza di 10 e la sesta potenza di 10 \u00e8 chiamato pavimento conduttivo. Il pavimento antistatico \u00e8 utilizzato principalmente nelle sale computer, nei reparti speciali, nei laboratori di precisione e in altri spazi che presentano requisiti speciali per l'elettricit\u00e0 statica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
